Urogenital infections (UTI) are frequent, and are characterised by increasing antimicrobial infections. Detailed treatment strategies are given in the EAU Guideline recommendations on urological infections. This webinar entails scenarios such as asymptomatic bacteriuria, prevention of recurrent urinary infections, and how to deal with hospital acquired UTI, sepsis and antibiotic resistance. Especially in prostate biopsies perioperative prophylactic strategies have changed significantly over the last years.
